LIMEY

Naming, branding, concept development and packaging design for Limey Jugo de Limón. An independent Mexican brand that produces and sells natural lemon juice.

The inspiration comes from the lemon juice history, which takes us back to a time when things were done in a more organic and exclusive way. Focusing in the antiquity of the lemon juice and contemplating it as something "vintage", thus giving the design a nostalgic and exclusive feel.

Also looking back in history for brand name inspiration, it was found that in the 18th century, sailors used to be called "limey" due to the high amount of lemon they used to consume.
